The History of Ronime Studios

"Unofficially", Ronime Studios was formed in 2002, with little more then a dream... literally. The founder, Ron Kieser, had an extended fantasy/sci-fi dream that gave him the insight to create the game series "Exodus", most well known is the 6th chronological part, "Faded Spirits". After a year of trying to get as much completed as he could alone, Ron realized that to do so would be impossible. Instead of giving up the dream, he went forth to gather various like-minded individuals to aid him to complete the game. Due to lack of communication and organization, many of the original staff eventually fell out. Ron soon learned "many ways to NOT make a video game" through many mistakes, which actually aided him in further development.

Three years following, in 2003, Ron finally registered the company along with Kim Head, the co-owner, as a game design company in Oregon, and progress went fast, for a while. In mid 2007 financial troubles reared it's ugly head and the Exodus series had to go on hold. The project was just too large and complex to complete with the resources that the company then had.

In order to fulfill his dream, Ron had to take on a much smaller project, using some advice given by staff of Blizzard and ViZ. Upon finding a few pictures of broken mannequin, the survival-horror project dOLLhOUSe was started. With story complete and art production underway, Ronime Studios may very well have it's pilot game well on it's way.
